Greetings,

What’s new at PCR you ask?  Well, a lot! For starters, our new pastry line is from a local bakery called, Wild Harvest. These all natural, no preservative treats are a favorite for many of our staff and complement our coffee drinks nicely. We have an assortment of muffins, croissants, coffee cakes, scones and danish in addition to our already delicious bagels, oatmeal and yogurt parfaits. Let us know what you think of these fantastic new treats!

Now that the weather is starting to warm up make sure to stop in for an iced tea or iced coffee and enjoy our new outdoor tables and chairs. This coming weekend with the weather forecast looking promising, we are taking PCR on the road and will have coffee booths at the K-Rob Foundation Event and at the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Make sure to be on the look out for us if you are there!

Greetings coffee lovers!

Well April is almost over and we have been open now for three months, amazing how time flies! From time to time we like to put out info to let our customers know what’s new here in the land of coffee beans, so here is the scoop. 

First, if you have not had a chance yet to vote for your favorite new coffee shop in RI's Best Magazine here's your chance, there are only a few days left to vote! (just follow this link) Best of Rhode Island Ballot  

Secondly, if you have not stopped in recently to our café there are quite a few new and exciting things going on. We have greatly increased our food offerings. Locally made bagels, yogurt parfaits with yogurt from Providence Granola Project and cranberry oatmeal are just a few of our new favorites. We continue to offer a excellent selection of Fair Trade and Organic coffee available here Coffee Offerings and now we are ramping up our corporate and cafe sales, so if your business needs coffee, let us know as we ship and deliver everywhere!

Well, Jevon braved the most recent blizzard of 2011 and picked up some exciting new coffee offerings yesterday in New York! The roaster is fired up and all these new beans will be available at the shop later today (Thursday the 27th). Among the new offerings, there are a few we wish to highlight: A superb Ethiopian Sidamo, a rich Nicaraguan from the UCOSEMUN coop, a limited supply of Honduran Carruchil Marcala beans and finally, a new decaf blend.  All are certified fair trade, organic and extremely tasty, come in for a cup or buy a pound!

 A HUGE thank you to all who came out for the soft opening! Many friends and many new faces as well! We take great joy in being able to provide you all with excellent coffee that is fairly traded, organic and expertly roasted and prepared. It looks like our "grand opening party" will happen on Saturday January 29th and will be filled with all sorts of awesome (aka more details soon!) In the next week or so we will be introducing some new single origin coffees and blends as well so come on back to the website or visit our new cafe up in Riverside!

Hi coffee lovers and PCR fans! We are set to open the cafe this Friday, January 14th! This will be a soft opening (meaning the complete and full extent of our menu and publicity will actually come together at our grand opening later this month). But don't be fooled!!!! The lights, wifi and espresso machine are on, the coffee is brewing and chairs and tables are ready for you to sit in; so stop in, grab a coffee or pastry and enjoy the beautiful new space! Keep checking back with us for new details and about our GRAND OPENING later this month!

Welcome to our new website! (Thank you Janet Mckelpin and Chris Bullock!)  Feel free to take a look around and give us feedback. Our hope is that this website will be an effective tool for keeping our awesome supporters and customers in the loop about news from PCR, help in making ordering even more effective and empowering each of you to make and/or enjoy the best cup of coffee possible! Our shop is also nearing the finish line and will be opened shortly, we will keep you posted when it opens, we are extremely excited about the shop being opened soon and to celebrate this event will be offering some new products and specials as we move into the month of December and our grand opening.
